Who is a Ruthin School student?

One Year International GCSE Programme
Ruthin school also offers the option to complete a one year International GCSE programme. Students study six subjects. Mathematics and English as a second language are compulsory. Students choose an additional two sciences from: Biology, Chemistry, Physics; and then a further one or two subjects from: Economics, Astronomy, History, Statistics, Geography, Computer Science.
Sixth form
The sixth formers can choose from a range of academic A-level options. All students study Personal, Social Education, Physical Education and take part in electives programme.
Subjects offered: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, Fine Art, French, Geography, Graphic Communication, History, Maths, Further Maths, Music, Photography, Physics, Politics, Psychology, Spanish, Textiles.
University destinations
They are the pathway to the best universities in the UK and around the world. Every year they send students to Oxbridge, G5 (top five) UK universities and Russell Group universities. Their students receive bespoke support in the sixth form to help them gain the university places they aspire to on the best course for their future ambitions.
