Aims of the school
The school’s aim is to provide a caring, expanding and successful school that is valued by parents, pupils and staff. To achieve this they have three general aims:
•To provide good quality education for boys and girls aged 7 to 18.
•To ensure that each pupil achieves their full potential both academically and socially, with each child being treated as an individual.

In 2022, 53% achieved A*-B grade at A Level- an exceptional achievement. Lime House students go on to study at many of the UK’s most prestigious universities, taking courses such as biological sciences, astrophysics, robotics, criminology, law and accounting.
At GCSE, 34% achieved grades 9-7 and 88% of grades were 9-4, giving access to further education.
Top 20 UK boarding school
For the last three years, Lime House has been a Top 100 School in the best-schools co-educational boarding school league table, based on the A level results. This puts the school ahead of many far more famous schools. Some of their pupils have gained places at Cambridge to study Natural Sciences, Oxford to read Geography, Imperial for Engineering and UCL for Economics and Management.
